Caution: using the xFSTK downloader tool to flash or install firmware will erase all data from your Android device. Take a backup of all data and save it before flashing.
Step 1: Download and install the Intel Android USB driver on the computer. If you installed it before, leave this step.
Step 2: Download and install the iSOC USB driver on the computer. If you already have, leave this step too.
Step 3: Download Stock Firmware on your Android device. In case you have it from before, please leave this step.
Step 4: Download and install the xFSTK downloader on the computer. After completing the installation, launch the tool.
Step 5: After launching the tool, you will see a screen. Click on MRD A0/B0 + MOOR A0 + CRB tab from the screen and select Modify Settings.
Step 6: Now click on the Enable GP Flag Override box.
Step 7: Under the GP Flag Override Value, enter 0x80000807 and click on the ok button.
Step 8: Under the firmware, click the FW Dnx browse button and select the dnx_fwr.bin file.
Step 9: Now click on the IFWI button, select ifwi.bin, and click Open.
Step 10: Click on the OS image browse button from the operating system. Select the droidboot_dns.img.POS_sign.bin or droidboot_sign.bin file. If you’re confused, then whatever is below, just select and click Ok.
Step 11: Now connect your device to the computer and make sure it is in power-off mode. If your device turns auto power on, turn it off, press the power button for 8 seconds, and shut it down. Press the power key now to start the download and installation.
Step 12: Click the Begin Download button to start downloading/ installing.
Step 13: Your device will automatically start the installation process when it detects by the flash tool.
Step 14: At the end, you will get a success message of FW+OS download complete. After getting this message, your device will go to fastboot mode.
Step 15: Finally, close the xFSTK tool and disconnect your device from the computer. Now restart your device.
Bravo! You have done it correctly. Now your device is running on the Stock ROM firmware that you have downloaded.
Note: you may face failed attempt message at step 14. But don’t be disappoint. Change the USB cable, use a different ROM and restart your computer then try it again. If it still doesn’t work, close all the tool, restart the device and computer, and retry it to follow the same process.
