Steps to Flash Intel Phone using Intel Phone Flash Tool

Step 1: Download Stock Firmware Based on Device Model

First, you need to download the official flash file (.XML or .Zip) for your Intel device to start the flashing process. Each Intel smartphone has individual stock firmware. Also, each model has multiple firmware files based on locations and countries. If you cannot find the exact firmware on our site, you can also download the .xml or .zip based stock firmware directly from Google.

Step 2: Extract the Flash File

After downloading the firmware file for the Intel phone, you will get a zip file. So using any file extractor, unzip the folder on your PC, and you will see various files. Check and remember these file locations because you will need them later.

Step 3: Download and Install Intel USB Driver

A USB driver is an all-in-one software program for Windows PC that allows desktop computers to detect the connected device. However, you must install the correct USB driver. If you want to connect the Intel powered phone to a PC, you will need to download and install the device-specific driver or Intel Android USB driver corresponding to the device models. Step 4: Install and Launch Intel Phone Flash Tool

Step 5: Load Firmware File

When the flash tool is launched, click on the “Browse” at the dashboard’s top. Now, find the “Flash.xml) setup file and choose the .xml file under the firmware file.

Switch off your device and press power + volume down + home to enter download mode. However, a few older phones use a different button combination. After entering your device to download method, connect the device to the PC using a USB data cable.

Step 7: Flash the Stock ROM

After connecting the device to the PC, your Android device will appear in the tool’s dashboard. Now, click on the “Start to Flash” button to begin the process the flashing. 

Step 8: Complete the Flashing

Step 9: Close the Flash Tool and Disconnect the Intel Device
