How to Root Samsung Galaxy J5 SM-J5008
There are several ways to root any device: with PC, without PC, using TWRP Recovery, and with Odin. This post will root the Galaxy J5 SM-J5008 model using a Windows computer and Odin. Our method is compatible with all Windows versions. Let’s gather the above tools and drivers and then proceed to the steps below.
Step 1: Before starting the rooting process, you need to connect the device to the PC. So you have to download the Samsung USB driver and install it on your Windows PC. However, if you have already installed it on your PC, then you can skip this step.
Step 2: After successfully download and install the USB driver, you should get the root file. So download the root file for Galaxy J5 and extract the content of this folder. After extracting the content, you will see an image.tar.md5 file.
Step 3: Go to the “Settings” option and navigate to the ‘About Phone” option.
Step 4: Then click on the “Build Number” 6-8 times to enable the developer option.
