Steps to Flash Stock ROM with Phoenix USB Pro

Step 1: Download Firmware Based on Smartphone Model

Flashing means installing new firmware on your device. But to flash it, you will need the latest firmware. First, you need to download the official flash file for your device to start the flashing process. Each model has individual stock firmware. Also, each model has multiple firmware files based on locations and countries. We have published many Stock Firmware files for various handset models. So browse our Stock Firmware category and download the latest flash file on your computer.

Step 2: Extract the Flash File

After downloading the firmware file, you will get a zip file. So using any file extractor, unzip the folder on your PC, and you will see various files. Check and remember these file locations because you will need them later.

Step 3: Download and Install Allwinner USB Driver

A USB driver is an all-in-one software program for Windows PC that allows desktop computers to detect the connected device. However, you must install the correct USB driver. If you want to connect an Allwinner powered phone to a PC, you will need to download and install the device-specific driver or Allwinner USB driver corresponding to the device models. Luckily, we have listed all available USB drivers for Allwinner phones based on models.

Step 4: Install and Launch Phoenix USB Pro

Now double click on the setup file and install it by following the on-screen instructions. After installing this flash tool correctly, launch this tool.

Step 5: Load Image Files from Firmware Folder

When the flash tool is launched, click on the image option and locate the firmware.img file from the extracted firmware folder. The Scatter File will look like firmware. img, and after selecting the exact image file, click on the Open button.

Step 6: Put your Allwinner Device in Download Mode and connect to the PC

Switch off your device and press power + volume down + home to enter download mode. However, a few older phones use a different button combination. After entering your device to download mode, connect the device to the PC using a USB data cable.

Step 7: Flash the Stock Firmware

After connecting the device to the PC, click on the “Start” the stock ROM flashing will begin automatically. The whole flashing process usually takes 10-15 minutes, depending on the speed, and your device will take a few extra minutes to reboot. After rebooting the device, you will see the custom ROM is running. However, after installing the new firmware, you cannot go back to the old firmware. When the flashing is completed, a green tick mark will show up on the screen.

Step 8: Close the Flash Tool and Disconnect the Allwinner Device

When you see the green tick mark, you are done. Using this simple tool, you have completed flashing the device accurately. Now close the flash tool on your Windows desktop and disconnect the smartphone.
