Steps to Flash LG Device using LG Flash Tool

Step 1: Download Firmware Based on your LG Smartphone Model

To flash your LG device, you will need the latest firmware. First, you need to download the official flash file for your device to start the flashing process. Step 2: Extract the Flash File

After downloading the firmware file, you will get a zip file. So using any file extractor, unzip the folder on your PC, and you will see various files. Check and remember these file locations because you will need them later.

Step 3: Download and Install LG USB Driver

A USB driver is an all-in-one software program for Windows PC that allows desktop computers to detect the connected device. However, you must install the correct USB driver. After uploading the KDZ firmware, click on the “Normal Flash” button. Then the “Read Phone Information” windows appear. From this box, click on the “Start” button below.

Step 8: Choose Country and Language

After click on the start option, a small window will show the country and language. Now, choose your country and language from the drop-down box. Then click on the “OK” button.

Step 9: Start the Flashing Process

Now, the stock ROM flashing will begin automatically. The whole flashing process usually takes 10-15 minutes, depending on the speed, and your device will take a few extra minutes to reboot. After rebooting the device, you will see the custom ROM is running. However, after installing the new firmware, you cannot go back to the old firmware. When the flashing is completed, a green tick mark will show up on the screen.

Step 8: Close the Flash Tool and Disconnect the LG Device

When you see the green tick mark, you are done. Using this simple tool, you have completed flashing the device accurately. Now close the flash tool on your Windows desktop and disconnect the smartphone.
